Whether it’s a celebrity or loved one who dies grief takes you completely by surprise. Suddenly you are navigating a road with no clear destination. Your life is suddenly changed forever. What do you do now? With approximately 146,000 people dying every day http://www.worldometers.info/ the number of people experiencing grief globally is profound.
Over 4500 people around the world have been drawn to Judy’s Facebook page in recent months.
The purpose of Judy Taylor's book, Mum Moments – Journey Through Grief is to give people permission to feel and realise they are not alone in their grieving.
She has connected with organisations including Good Grief Worldwide, National Grief Awareness, Grief Diaries, Grief The Unspoken, The Grief Toolbox, My Grief Assist, and the Australian Centre For Grief and Bereavement. She has been invited by Good Grief Worldwide to become their Australian Grief Ambassador. These organisations provide resources to assist people on their grieving journey.
Christopher Hall, CEO of Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement describes Judy's book as “a window into the usually private and intimate experience of sudden loss”.
“The need to make sense of a sudden loss is often an overwhelming impulse,” says Christopher Hall, “and this effortful process can be helped through the written word. Judy’s book provides a very personal insight into this process and underlines the importance of finding meaning in the wake of loss.”
