My Grief Journey Began 4 Years Ago...

17/2/2015

This time 4 years ago I was aware my mum's life was about to end.
A decision was imminent to remove her life support and allow her to move on.
She chose to leave this physical world and begin her new journey.
Death and Grief have taken me down pathways I had no idea how to navigate.
This experience has taken me through the depths of despair and transformational experiences I never expected.
From raw grief to connection with love beyond this world I have discovered my relationship with my mum will last forever.
I miss her physical presence in my life and would happily have her walk in the door right now.
Knowing this is no longer a reality I have embraced our spiritual connection and celebrate her presence in my life everyday.
It's different now.

the day you said goodbye to your Mum in the physical world , was the day you started Saivo ( as the sai people talk about / service ) ... cos you give others the arena for sharing loss / tears & FEELINGS ...

It's so hard, isn't it, to let someone go... even when we prepare for it. I ended up becoming a grief counselor after my dad's death. It has ended up being such a help in my own grieving process. I feel him there, as I sit with others. It is very calming, which I believe is transferred to my clients. The work comes through me, I guess.

When I first started reading your posts, Jude, I saw that you had a special way of sharing your story. The great thing about you is how honest you are, how you're not afraud to share your vulnerability. Thank you for that! XO

Thank you Sheila. My passion and life's work is introducing myself and others to self awareness. I believe through vulnerability we find inner strength. Jude xoxoxo

So true Judy, it all changes, doesn't it? I'm so grateful I've felt your support this year and guidance in this process of transformation. You are helping me to heal, not just to find the way through grief but to embrace it. You've helped me see how to live with this and reminded me how to connect with my daughter. We always were and always will be.
